Ballast is a thick combination of sand and gravel that is used in a wide variety of building applications as a rough, coarse material. This aggregate is mostly employed in heavy-duty operations and practical applications such as concrete. The ballast that we provide to our customers is available in two sizes: 10 mm and 20 mm.
Top-quality Ballast
Unlike other providers, we make sure that your aggregate is as dry as possible when it is delivered to you. It is cleansed and tested before delivery, much like the rest of our aggregates. We recognise, however, that when ballast is damp, it gets heavier and more difficult to deal with.
Our Quality Guarantee
Before delivery, we do all we can to guarantee that our ballast is as dry as possible. 10mm is generally used in the construction of retaining walls and shallow footings when combined with cement. 10mm is also suitable for home purposes, such as fence posts and garden walkways. 20mm, on the other hand, maybe utilised to make concrete slabs that can be used as foundations for garages, sheds, conservatories, and other additions. Because of its high fines concentration, 20mm cannot be used for drainage like 10mm. It may, however, be kept outdoors without risking spoilage.
